The geometry of the ONYXJET MK3 ejection seat is inspired by the ACES II seat of the F-16. Like its prototype, the seat is inclined by 30 degrees. It also includes a harness system, produced by Mil-Tec, an Adjustable headrest and a Sony SRS-X88 sound system. Inside the seat, there is an extra compartment with a USB hub, space for cables and a power strip.
It is a replica of the A-10c throttle controller & button box made by Thrustmaster. It is build-out of metal, all buttons are fully programmable. It is the best you can get on the market.
RX Viper V2 rudder pedal system made by Slaw Device. These pedals are also F-16 inspired, they weigh around 14lb and include toe brakes.
The MFD frames are made by Thrustmaster. They are a replica of the MFDs used in the F-16c cockpit. MFD content from the simulator software is projected onto the screen area behind the frame. Together with the buttons, you get fully functional MFDs like in a real jet.
The ejection seat is equipped with a Sony SRS-X88 2.1 sound system. Technical data: 90 W / Bluetooth® 3.0 / Airplay® / WLAN / 55–40,000 Hz. Placed very close behind the pilot’s neck, it produces a relatively solid sound despite its small size. Thanks to the 69 mm subwoofer, you can feel the afterburner in the seat.
We install an Apple Magic Trackpad for mouse control behind the middle MFD frame. Due to the central positioning, it also works for left-handed pilots
We use a TrackIR 5 head tracking input device from NaturalPoint to give pilots abetter control of the viewing direction in virtual cockpits.

Wondering where the cables are? All photos of the ONYXJET MK3 come from a fully functional simulator. Most cables are located in the profile grooves, which are closed by cover profiles. There is a central compartment under the seat, in which there is a USB hub, a power strip, and the excess cables.
There are various setting options to adapt the cockpit to the pilot: the rudder pedal position; headrest height; backrest height; keyboard position; the position of the consoles (except for the height). We are open to design adjustments according to your personal wishes.
The keyboard holder can be swiveled at two points and is therefore adjustable in height and angle. It puts the keyboard in a really ergonomic position. The keyboard can be positioned in a way that it does not cover the lower screen or the center MFD box.
